Buying ones and zeros

From Daring Fireball:

…people will happily pay for things they can actually hold in their hands, but you can’t touch ones and zeroes.

Y’know, it’d be kind of cool to be able to buy a set of eight ones and zeroes with the binary value of your choice. I’m thinking they’d be a couple inches high, either black or available in different colors, and easy to stand up next to each other.

The tricky thing is getting those zeroes to stand up straight!

You can already kind-of accomplish this: go to the local hardware store and get house numbers. They don’t stand up on their own, but you could easily fashion something to attach them to.

I don’t think you can do that. We already own ones and zeroes. :-)

Darn it! Maybe you’d license them?
