Why remotes need better grips
So far I’m one for one in throwing the remote for my MacBook Pro accidentally while giving a talk and using the remote to control Keynote. Oops. And I wasn’t even trying to press a button on it at the time — I was just moving my arms to emphasize a point. Good thing the remote hit the desk in front of me instead of hitting someone in the audience and getting me kicked out of Cambridge.

Sounds like it’s time for a new mini-industry spawned by Apple: accessories for their remotes.
There could be stick-on grip enhancers, lanyards, and those beeping things to help you locate a remote that you’ve misplaced. Maybe a way to store the remote in the ExpressCard slot, if that’s possible. Oh, and personalization, so if you’re in a room full of MBP owners you won’t get your remotes mixed up.
